Job Summary

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required

  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required

  • 1-2 years of Unit Secretary experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

  • Epic experience preferred

  • Knowledge of general office equipment PCs and associated software packages preferred.

  • General knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

  • Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment positive interpersonal skills and good verbal and written communication skills.

ORGANIZATIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Performs all tasks to meet the needs of physicians staff patient and other customers

  • Demonstrates acceptable organizational skills

  • Communicates effectively

  • Interactions include consideration for patient population specific needs

  • Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks

Work location: Texas Health Plano 6200 West Parker Road Plano TX 75093

Work hours: Part-time Days (7A-7P) Two variable 12-hour day shifts per week for 24 hours per week Weekend and holiday requirements
