Summary

Iowa State Universitys Trademark Licensing Office is seeking a full-time Trademark Licensing and Branding Specialist. We are looking for a self-motivated results-oriented professional with knowledge of the licensing landscape to help manage and grow the universitys licensing program.

This position provides the opportunity to work closely with university licensees retailers campus units and departments and student organizations to ensure proper trademark use maintain brand consistency and support compliance with institutional guidelines.

Example of Duties

• Supports the Director of Trademark Licensing in the development implementation and evaluation of the departments strategic licensing plan.

• Collaborate with the Director in the interpretation and implementation of the program policy guidelines and procedures.

• Serves as the primary branding contact for review of trademark usage requests by university departments and student organizations

• Coordinates the internal and external artwork approval process through the contracted licensing agencies and the Universitys respective platforms.

• With the Director manages the University Crafter program through the Community Connect platform.

• Presents licensing branding and trademark information at training programs for university departments and student organizations as required.

• Implements graphic design skills to support retailers licensees departments on campus and the Licensing department

• Travels to licensing association convention and symposium for professional development as well as meetings and seminars led by licensees.

• Perform other duties as assigned
