Compensation Coordinator

Job Summary
Provides organization-wide support for the implementation and administration of various compensation programs and related activities.
Program Management:
- Provide administrative support for compensation programs and annual process cycles
- Support recommendations for program design and/or process improvements
Job Analysis:
- Support job descriptions and the job evaluation process to ensure positions are appropriately classified and compensated
- Ensures job codes job titles and pay grades are current and accurate
- Troubleshoot any discrepancies
Salary Survey Management:
- Coordinate annual compensation survey participation and results
Systems and Tools:
- Assist with facilitating HR compensation and performance management systems including maintenance and process testing
- Provides support to HR to ensure appropriate and accurate use of systems and tools.
Compliance and Governance:
- Support monitoring of relevant laws regulations and trends related to compensation practices such as minimum wage laws pay equity and pay transparency
- Conduct regular program audits and provide administrative support for adherence to legal requirements
Communication and Education:
- Support communication of policies programs and changes to employees that enhance employee understanding and value
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze compensation data metrics and trends
- Collaborate on reports for management and executives
- Provide compliance and reporting support
Perform other related duties and participate in and/or drive other projects as assigned
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in a discipline related to functional work or role required.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant Compensation work experience in Human Resources or a similar role with exposure to compensation policies and programs
- Exposure to Payfactors Market Pay or similar market pricing tool preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Recognize anomalies and critical situations; and respond appropriately
- Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and maintain strict confidentiality of information at all times
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of compensation-related laws and regulations including but not limited to the Fair Labor Standards Act Equal Pay Act minimum wage pay transparency and overtime
Additional Information :
RRDs current salary range for this role is $48500 to $70900 / year. The salary range may be adjusted
based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee and the range may change in the
future. At RRD it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and
compensation decisions may vary based upon but not limited to education skills experience proficiency
performance shift and location. Depending on the role in addition to base salary the total compensation
package may also include participation in a bonus commission or incentive program. RRDs benefit
