As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Sterling VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Pay Rate: $27.27 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and help to document events according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location including lobbies offices entrances parking areas and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access points observe visitor and employee activity and help to report suspicious behavior unsecured areas and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support opening and closing routines assist with emergency situations as needed and communicate professionally with staff visitors and first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
