Qualifications:
- Associates degree preferred
- Three (3) years of contract management-related experience preferred
- Knowledge of general purchasing terminology and purchasing principles in school business
- Excellent computer application skills including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint required
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to multi-task and perform on deadline required
- Professional demeanor effective communication skills personal integrity self-starter and the ability to work with complex issues in a confidential and fast paced work environment required
Primary Purpose:
Serve as the primary point of contact with internal parties in facets of contract management. This position is also responsible for implementing and managing contract systems database improvements and management and all duties associated with files system and management. Will also provide administration of the Purchasing Department procurement contracts.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement maintain and operate an accurate district-wide contract tracking and management system.
- Knowledge of basic procurement rules and regulations for school districts.
- Support Purchasing staff in the contract formulation administration tracking and renewals/extensions.
- Ability to read and understand contracts.
- Perform research to determine legality and applicability of proposed contract terms and recommend proposed revisions to the General Counsel when necessary.
- Assist other personnel to promote and ensure an efficient and effective work environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
- Work with district personnel to develop contracts for project-related services from initial inception to project completion provide technical advice and assist in solving procurement problems.
- Other duties as assigned.

Personal computer printer copier/scanner calculator
Working Conditions:
Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive hand motions.
