Job Summary:The Athletic Intern assists in the daily operations of the Athletic Department. Provides practice coverage for assigned sport. Serve as the onsite liaison for student athletes.
Additional Department Summary:Provides nutrition support to the football program and assists with other teams as assigned. Assists in managing nutrition students nutrition operations and work in concert with all performance nutrition staff members.
Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Science in Nutrition Dietetics Public Health Nutrition Food and Nutrition or Exercise Physiology.
Must have valid U.S. drivers license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Eligible (RDE). Basic knowledge of NCAA Division I policies and procedures. Experience in collegiate athletic environment. Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
