Network Specialist
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Support the configuration monitoring and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including Fortinet firewalls VPNs and security policies.
- Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments including VLAN management and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Monitor network performance and alerts; identify troubleshoot and escalate issues such as outages latency and connectivity disruptions.
- Perform firmware updates patching and assist with change management procedures across network devices.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft Azure).
Days and Shift Information
- Full-time position
- Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support
- Participation in an on-call rotation for network support and incident response
Work Environment
- Office-based or hybrid work environment depending on business needs
- Collaborative team setting within the TechOps/IT department
- Fast-paced environment supporting a multi-site enterprise network infrastructure
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Network Engineering Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Equivalent hands-on experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education
Experience
- 13 years of experience in a network support IT support or similar technical role
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP VLANs routing switching and DNS
- Exposure to or experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cisco Meraki environments preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus
- Experience with network monitoring tools documentation practices and basic troubleshooting methodologies

Additional Information :
Pay / Benefits / Perks
- Pay rate: $85000
