Network Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Support the configuration monitoring and troubleshooting of network infrastructure including Fortinet firewalls VPNs and security policies.
• Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments including VLAN management and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Monitor network performance and alerts; identify troubleshoot and escalate issues such as outages latency and connectivity disruptions.
• Perform firmware updates patching and assist with change management procedures across network devices.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud environments (e.g. Microsoft Azure).

Days and Shift Information

• Full-time position
• Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support
• Participation in an on-call rotation for network support and incident response

Work Environment

• Office-based or hybrid work environment depending on business needs
• Collaborative team setting within the TechOps/IT department
• Fast-paced environment supporting a multi-site enterprise network infrastructure

Qualifications :

Education

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Network Engineering Computer Science or a related field preferred
• Equivalent hands-on experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education

Experience

• 13 years of experience in a network support IT support or similar technical role
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP VLANs routing switching and DNS
• Exposure to or experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cisco Meraki environments preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus
• Experience with network monitoring tools documentation practices and basic troubleshooting methodologies

Pay / Benefits / Perks

• Pay rate: $85000
