Position:
Sales & Marketing Manager
The Sales & Marketing Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Sales Department and assist Operations Manager and President in strategic company initiatives. This is a Sales Manager focused role first with marketing duties as a secondary.

- Hire and train sales staff organize and oversee the schedules and performance of sales staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Provide leadership and support to the sales team motivate and encourage sales teamto ensure goals are met.
- Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; using data to project sales determine profitability and targets and identify potential new markets.
- Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
- Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggests equipment products or services that will meet those needs.
- Resolve customer complaints staffing problems and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
- Prepares sales budget; monitors and approves expenses.
- Acts as company representative at trade association meetings.
- Co-ordinate and manage all marketing aspects with President for marketing plan regional and national sales etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Bachelors degree in business management or related field OR comparable record of sales leadership experience required
- 5 years of Sales management experience background in flooring construction orbuilding industry preferred.
- Experience in government contracting and procurement a plus.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
- Strong supervisory and empathetic leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems.

$60000 - $120000 a year
