Job Description
The Assistant Director will serve as a key consultant and resource to departmental leadership supporting the development execution and management of essential operational and administrative functions. This role focuses on improving processes ensuring compliance and supporting strategic initiatives across the department.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advisory and technical support to departmental leadership on operational and administrative functions
Assist in managing departmental initiatives including interpreting policies and procedures
Support the development and implementation of new programs systems and processes
Conduct research and data analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations
Lead or support special projects based on organizational needs
Develop short- and long-term plans and establish implementation strategies
Monitor budgets and track expenses for assigned departments or projects
Analyze internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify potential risks and support compliance initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency
Represent the department in internal and external meetings committees and workgroups
Coordinate direct and evaluate staff work related to assigned functions or projects
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience (One of the following):
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration Hospital Administration Public Administration Business Administration Industrial/Organizational Psychology Organizational Behavior or related field
3 years of relevant full-time experience in program or administrative management
Including at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role
OR
Bachelors Degree in Healthcare Public Administration Business Administration Psychology or related field
4 years of relevant full-time experience
Including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
OR
Equivalent combination of education training and experience

Knowledge of policy interpretation and regulatory compliance
Budgeting and financial monitoring skills
