About the Role
Our client is hiring a Warehouse Operations Sr. Specialist in Kokomo IN.
This role supports the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for hands-on execution of daily warehouse operations including receiving inventory control and shipping.
The position focuses on operational execution process support and coordination rather than full team leadership.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Execute daily warehouse operations including receiving storage inventory control and shipping
- Support inbound and outbound shipment coordination and ensure timely processing
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS; assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams (logistics transportation customer service)
- Monitor workflow efficiency and identify operational issues on the floor
- Assist in training new employees on warehouse procedures and safety guidelines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies
- Support process improvements and help implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare basic operational reports and assist in tracking KPIs
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Hands-on experience in warehouse processes (receiving shipping inventory)
- Experience using WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and OSHA guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business or related field (preferred)
- Experience in 3PL or logistics environments (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Korean) preferred
