Title X Specialist

Job Summary
The Title X Specialist will carry out responsibilities which ensure high quality well-coordinated patient care in the clinic according to Title X guidelines. The specialist will work closely with the Project Director to ensure that data entry documentation and follow up activities related to patient care and support staffing are optimized for efficient compliant provision of high-quality patient care.
- Sample charts for review including physical exams medical history lab reports scans and reports relevant information for data entry into Ahlers software per the Title X guidelines
- Maintain/update Title X training curriculum and ensure necessary staff timely completion
- Coordinate with Project Director to plan and facilitate community outreach events in vulnerable population areas
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local requirements
- Audit patient charts for compliance pertaining to proper documentation of adolescent counseling reproductive life plans and appropriate billing per the slide fee discount policy.
- Routine review/improvement of Title X workflow for adherence to the current workflows and policies.
- Gather/maintain and submit data for FPAR report due annually to ODH
- Coordinate Information & Education Committee meetings and the FPAR reporting per fiscal grant year
- Collaboration with Finance on fees schedules and payments from grant
- Work with Community Health Workers to promote awareness of Reproductive Health and Wellness in the community.
- Build Community Partnerships with area organizations
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Clinical experience required or primary care/public health preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
- Experience with EMR required NextGen preferred
- Experience with grants or Title X preferred
