Your Role:

• Directs designated quality improvement activities and functions.
• Demonstrates an understanding of diversity. Demonstrates integrity compassion accountability respect and excellence (I CARE values).
• Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues visitors and patients.
• Oversees departmental functions of the Improvement Advisor(s) II Utilization Review Clinician(s) and RN/Clinical Education Coord(s).
• Directs Behavioral Health Center (BHC) safety processes and administrative functions and processes (in consultation with supervisor) in accordance with BHC policies and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with required training in accordance with established time frames.
• Performs other duties.

Reports To:Dir/Inpatient Services (job code (JC): 110101)

Supervises:Improvement Advisor II (JC: 247402) Utilization Review Clinician (JC: 247202) and RN Registered Nurse/Clinical Education Coord (JC: 036903)

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree in psychology social work counseling or a related human services field

Preferred Education:

• Masters degree in psychology social work counseling or a related human services field.

Required Experience:

• Three (3) years of relevant job-related work experience within a mental health setting

Preferred Experience:

• Three (3) years of relevant professional performance improvement/quality assurance administrative experience and/or experience in an inpatient mental health setting.
• Professional clinical experience in a psychiatric community mental health or hospital setting.
