Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking afull-time Infection Preventionist for our Infection Control department. This is your opportunity to make an impact on improving the quality and safety of care delivered to our patients while doing the work you love in the beautiful Coulee regionof La Crosse Wisconsin.

What you will do:

• Work in afull-time salaried role at a 1.0 FTE. Day shifts Monday through Friday.

• Provide call coverage for one week every six weeks (evenings nights weekends). This is mostly consultative via phone but may on rare occasions require an in-person response

• Collaborate with a team of 5other Infection Preventionists while supporting multipleinpatient medical/surgical units

• Provide expertise related to all things infection control to healthcare personnel

• Engage in day-to-day problem-solving and consultation education and leading quality improvement projects

• Monitor audit and provide guidance forprevention healthcare-associatedinfections hand hygiene and more

What you need:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing (preferred) or a health-related field

• RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin or license commensurate with education and experience if appropriate

• 2 years of healthcare (or related) experience required

• The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of nursing experience. Quality improvementand/or infection control experience is a plus!
