The Learning Design & Development Associate helps Roblox employees grow develop and succeed as Builders. Reporting to thePeople Experience & Learning Manager this role designs develops and facilitates learning experiences that enable employees to build knowledge develop skills and apply what they learn in their work. This role will initially support design and facilitation in three core areas: new hire programs that help people land well and connect to Roblox culture career development initiatives that help employees build skills and scaled learning experiences that reach the organization broadly. Through both thoughtful design and hands-on delivery this role ensures learning is clear engaging and practical for the people participating in it.

We are looking for someone who brings strong instructional design fundamentals and a practical approach to building learning experiences that work in real organizational contexts. You enjoy translating complex information into clear instructional structures designing activities that reinforce key concepts and producing materials that support both learners and facilitators. Because Roblox is a platform built around creativity community and user-generated experiences we are particularly interested in candidates who are energized by environments where people create build and share experiences with one another.

You Will:

• Design curricula and learning materials that support onboarding professional skills development and role-specific capability building.
• Translate complex subject matter into clear structured instructional experiences program outlines and learning objectives.
• Create high-quality learning assets including facilitator guides presentation materials participant workbooks and digital modules.
• Structure interactive activities such as discussions simulations and case-based learning to ensure practical knowledge application.
• Partner with subject matter experts to shape specialized organizational knowledge into well-organized and effective learning structures.
• Lead in-person and virtual sessions delivering new hire experiences workshops and cohort-based programs for groups across the organization.
• Create psychologically safe environments that encourage employee participation reflection and the practice of new skills.
• Guide learners through exercises and discussions adapting your facilitation style and pacing to meet the needs of different groups.
• Support consistent program delivery by modeling best practices in execution support and coordination

You Have:

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in instructional design learning and development training facilitation or a related professional field.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design Learning Sciences Educational Technology Organizational Psychology Adult Learning or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience developing learning materials with a portfolio showing your ability to translate complex topics into clear content.
• Comfort facilitating interactive sessions including leading group discussions and guiding learners through practice activities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and subject matter experts.
• The ability to be flexible and quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment where learning needs and organizational priorities evolve.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters degree in Learning Sciences Instructional Design Adult Learning Organizational Psychology or a related field.
• A passion for Roblox and our community including an interest in creator ecosystems and interactive digital experiences.
• Familiarity with Roblox or curiosity about how creator-driven platforms enable communities to build share and collaborate.
• Familiarity with instructional frameworks such as ADDIE SAM or similar systematic approaches to content creation.
• Experience with digital tools including e-learning development software (Articulate Captivate etc.) and learning management systems (LMS).
• Experience in tech environments specifically designing or facilitating for corporate or technology-focused audiences.
