We are looking for:Internal MedicineLicensed VeterinaryTechnician

Schedule: 1^st shift Tuesday-Friday

The Internal Medicine team is constantly working with our internists to provide information to our clientsregardingpatient careupdatesand treatments. This is one department thatfocuses on relationship building as patient care is longer in you want to combine your love of animals and clients this is the department for you!

Whatyoulldo:

Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg %/mgetc).
Inducemonitorand recoverpatients fromanesthesia
Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
Set up andassistwith endoscopic procedures (GI nasal urinary airway).
Patient discharge and client education

Who you are:

State Registered Veterinary Technician licenserequired
Prior veterinary experiencerequiredpreviousinternal medicine or anesthesiaexperience desired
Proficientincalculations(drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
