Description

The ideal Rheumatology APP is a collaborative patient-centered clinician with a strong interest in longitudinal care and the management of complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. This individual thrives in a team-based multidisciplinary environment and partners closely with physicians nurses and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality comprehensive care.


Key attributes include strong clinical reasoning skills comfort managing patients with chronic and multisystem disease and an ability to build long-term therapeutic relationships. The successful candidate demonstrates excellent communication professionalism and adaptability with a commitment to continuity of care patient education and evidence-based practice. Experience or interest in caring for patients with complex immunologic conditions disease-modifying therapies and evolving treatment paradigms is highly valued.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a FNP ANP or ACNP.


Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.


Additional Qualifications:
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date and DEA registration required.
