Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a culturally and linguistically diverse student population for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate is bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish and experienced in managing a mixed-severity caseload. This role focuses on delivering standards-based therapy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive speech and language services to approximately 37 students.
Manage a caseload including 12 Moderate/Severe and 25 Mild/Moderate students.
Deliver therapy and instruction in both English and Spanish.
Develop and implement individualized standards-based intervention plans.
Adapt curriculum and therapy strategies to support special education at-risk and multilingual learners.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation for evaluations compliance and state reporting.
Collaborate with teachers specialists and families to provide culturally responsive support.
Utilize cooperative learning interdisciplinary units and inclusive co-teaching practices.
Engage in professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Colorado Special Services Provider License with School SLP endorsement.
Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish (required).
Experience managing mixed-severity caseloads (Moderate/Severe and Mild/Moderate).
Knowledge of standards-based assessment and instructional design.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
CLD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) endorsement or willingness to obtain equivalent coursework.
Experience working in diverse inclusive school environments.
