Job Summary
The Forklift Driver is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move load unload and organize materials. This role supports daily warehouse operations by maintaining inventory accuracy following safety procedures and ensuring efficient product flow. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts (sit-down stand-up or reach truck depending on facility needs) to move materials throughout the warehouse Load and unload trucks pallets crates and other materials Pick stage and organize products for production or shipment Maintain clean and safe work areas while following all company safety policies Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues Assist with cycle counts inventory control and general warehouse tasks Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily productivity goals Requirements Previous forklift experience preferred (specific type can be added if needed) Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Valid forklift certification or willingness to complete company-provided training Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk throughout shift Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Skills Experience with reach trucks clamp trucks or order pickers (optional) Basic computer or scanner experience Strong communication and teamwork skills
