Job Summary

HR Admin Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This positionis responsible forthe following: Other duties may be assigned.

  1. First point of contact to greet visitors applicants answer telephones provide information tovisitor/caller whenappropriate direct toappropriate HRpersonnel and/or take messages when department meetings and schedules; ensure smooth officeoperations.

  1. Examine employee files to answer inquiries related to personnel data and provide information for personnel actions as well aslocatingand attachingappropriate filesto incoming correspondence requiring preparation of papers and presentations for the assignedManager.

  1. Review and evaluate mail toidentifythose items requiring priority attentionfromtheteam.

  1. Assistwithmaintainingemployee records in alldatabases.

  1. Helpas as posting jobs reviewing resumes schedule pre-employment screeningand up toassistinginfinalizinga hire.

  1. Completingtasks assignedto support the HumanResourcesfunctions.

  1. Independently respond to letters and general correspondence of a routinenature.

  1. Make copies of correspondence or other printed material asrequested. Coordinatepurchasing ofoffice supplies etc. with all department heads (distribute office supplies asneeded).

Required Education & Experience:

  1. Associates degree in business administrationand/or equivalent workexperience.

  1. One (1) tothree (3) or moreyearsinHR oradministrativesupportexperience preferred.

  1. Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word ExcelPowerPoint.

Working Conditions:

  1. Mustpossessmobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment and be able to attend meetings at various sites within and away fromoffice.

  1. Strength to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20pounds.

  1. Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen including the ability to look at a computer screen for at least eight hours each day.

  1. Hearing andcommunicatingin person and over thetelephone

  1. Regular exposure to all weather conditions especially hothumidand/or rainy weather combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlledconditions.

Necessary Equipment Operation:

  1. Copiers scanners computers shredders postagemachines.

Special Skills:

  1. Bilingual preferred(English/Spanish)

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills.

  1. High performance anda strongteamplayer.

  1. Strong Organizational Skills (coordinating projects setting priorities meetingdeadlinesand following up onassignments).

  1. Commitment to company values policies and procedures and safetyprogram.
