Job Title: Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Adult Cardiac Surgery - Required
• General Thoracic Surgery - Preferred
• Congenital Cardiac Surgery
• CABG
• Off-Pump CABG
• Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery)
• Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery)
• Tube Thoracostomy
• Pericardial Window
• Tracheostomy
• Thoracic aortic aneurysms
• Flexible and Rigid Bronchoscopy
• Thoracotomy Lung Biopsy
• Thoracotomy Lung Resections and Pneumonectomy
• Thoracotomy Decortication
• Mediastinal Surgery
• Mediastinotomy and Biopsy
• Surgical Open Aneurysm Repair
• Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
• Mitral Valve Repair

Qualifications:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• BLS Certified - REQUIRED
• KY License - Preferred (Willing to accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
• CLEAN BACKGROUND REQUIRED
• Impella support (Insertion/Removal/Bailout) REQUIRED
• Structural Heart Support (in Hybrid OR / Cath Lab) REQUIRED
• A Self-Query NPDB report required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - REQUIRED

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• BLS Certification
• Kentucky Medical License (Preferred but not mandatory)
