Job Title: Tier 2 IT Support-Classroom Support

Location(s): Crystal City VA

Hours: Regular Full-Time

Salary Range: $65k/yr - $73k/yr

Clearance Requirements

This position requires a current and active Secret Clearance at the time of application.

What you will be doing:

The person in this position will provide trouble shooting and assistance with classroom equipment; images and repairs classroom equipment; and simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.

The duties will include:

• All Tier 2 duties
• Interaction with Undergraduate School (UGE) helpdesk staff DEVOPS network team to restore service and or identify and correct core problems.
• Will document track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years related experience with a BS Degree (see Education for additional information)
• Windows or Apple Certified Mac Technician.
• Strong working knowledge/ familiarity with Ivanti Management Suite and Windows imaging
• Professional customer service skill
• Must be resourceful and able to take initiative in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems effectively and efficiently.

Education:

• Requires AA/AS with 7 years experience
• Bachelors preferred not required. BA/BS with minimum 5 years experience

Certifications:

• Required IAT Level II (Security CySA CND or SSCP)

This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. The ability to move files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
