Job Summary
Position details: full-time Monday to Friday day shift 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Position will mainly support the Care Center in Royal Oak must be willing to travel to the Neuro Clinic in Troy.
Job Summary
Directs day-to-day operations of a site. Helps coordinate activities between patients and staff. Addresses money handling and billing issues at their location. Assists with billing and clerical staff support functions as needed. Enters monitors and maintains Kronos for designated employees. Does quarterly compliance audits. Manages patient and staff issues.
Scope of this position will be determined by leadership according to defined leveling criteria.
Essential Functions
- Performs office management duties including payroll ordering/inventory of all supplies and patient scheduling.
- Supervision of staff scheduling and timekeeping hiring training and evaluating performance as needed. Cover for direct reports during absences.
- Assists with special projects as needed.
- Oversees and provides support in charge entry cash posting work queues and follow-up where designated. Responsible for petty cash and deposits.
- Provide operational support when applicable with clinical skill validation within the practice to assist as needed.
- Actively participates in safety initiates and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organization skills.
- Needs to have an ability to lead others.
- Interpersonal time management skills.
- Must exhibit behaviors associated with the Corewell Health Standards.
Preferred
- Prior experience working in a healthcare environment.
