Job Summary
Thisposition willassistin the building design and system upgrades of EPIC Application Analyst will provide support for the system including guidance of users at all COPC practice sites and EPIC Application Analyst works closely withEHR(electronic health record) training team management physician offices ancillary offices and administrative staff tofacilitateeffective education and training on the EHR application.

- Monday - Friday - 8 hours per day possible weekend hours during upgrades twice a year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with developing implementing and supporting Epics Cadence and Prelude modules.
- Act as a resource for Epic questions and issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain configuration and workflow documents for the Epic system.
- Assist with analysis of data (conversion analytics quality root cause).
- Perform upgrade review build and testing.
- Attend meetings and is accountable for actions items assigned.
- Interact with management and end users to understand workflow and business processes.
- Answer track and makecalls to Central Ohio Primary Care Providers and personnel to provide support within Epic.
- Develop and maintain configuration decisions and workflow documents.
- Developing/facilitatinga collaborative positive team environment.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Licensures Certifications & Experience
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Preferred: Minimum of 5 years working within Epic
Required:EPIC certificationor obtain certification within 1 year of hire
Required: Healthcare experience
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Proven understanding of the use and functionality of an EHR system
- Experience tracking problems and performing follow-up on issues and concerns
- Strong computer skills telephone etiquette customer service
- Strong Microsoft Suite skills (PowerPoint Excel Word Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A self-starter witha strong senseof initiative
