The Role
The Safety Specialist General Compliance supports DOT FMCSA OSHA and company safety programs. This role focuses on fleet compliance driver safety incident response training and regulatory reporting while serving as a key safety resource across the organization.

What Youll Do:

• Ensure DOT/FMCSA compliance (DQ files HOS DVIRs MVRs inspections)
• Manage ELD and in-vehicle camera systems
• Lead vehicle incident reporting investigations and corrective training
• Support DOT & Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs
• Conduct and support new driver and ongoing safety training
• Support fleet programs claims management OSHA compliance and safety audits

Your Schedule:

• Position is on-site
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Some travel involved 10%

What You Bring:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
• DOT/FMCSA and OSHA compliance experience with CMV fleets
• Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and be on-call as needed

Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Class A CDL (or ability to obtain within 24 months)
• First Aid/CPR/AED (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
