Job Summary
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst plays a critical role in detecting analyzing and responding to cybersecurity threats across an organizations digital infrastructure. This position requires strong technical skills attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM and other tools
Investigate suspicious activities and escalate confirmed incidents
Perform threat analysis and containment procedures
Document incidents and maintain security logs
Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve detection and response
Contribute to tuning security tools and updating playbooks
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONS:
36 years of experience in cybersecurity IT operations or SOC environment
Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g. Splunk Sentinel Qradar CrowdStrike)
Solid understanding of networking malware behavior and incident response
Certifications such as Security CySA or equivalent preferred
Bachelors or Masters degree preferred
