Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:High School Education/GED or equivalent: RequiredLicenses/Certifications:Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) Health Care Provider certification: RequiredSuccessful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: PreferredPhlebotomy certificate: PreferredFacility Specific License/Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) or California Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Medical Assistant - NCCT (NCCT) or Certified Medical Assistant- NHA (CMA-NHA) or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) or American Medical Tech Board MA (MA-AMT): RequiredEssential Functions:Sets up exam rooms and checks in patients.
