The Role

Lead the Revolution: Drive Growth and Operational Excellence in Vietnam

Crimson Education was founded on the idea that through personalized education we can transform students into tomorrows world leaders. We are seeking a decisive hands-on Country Director/General Manager to take full P&L accountability for our Vietnam operations. This leader must define the market strategy achieve high growth targets and instill our core value of Hustle & Grit.

What are the main responsibilities for this role

The Country Manager is responsible for the full P&L accountability strategic execution and instilling a high-performance culture.

Strategy Finance and Oversight

  • Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute the annual and long-term strategy for Vietnam ensuring alignment with global policy.

  • P&L Management: Drive profitable operations through close management of the P&L. Oversee all administration financial control and resource allocation to ensure cost-efficiency.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the complete operation and drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and compliance.

  • Global Alignment: Coordinate and maintain close communication with global teams to ensure seamless program execution and platform leverage.

Hands-on Team Leadership and Performance

  • Hands-on Team Management: Provide decisive hands-on leadership to management and staff. Focus on managing and driving local sales and marketing teams ensuring high performance and engagement.

  • Instill Hustle & Grit: Foster a high-performance results-oriented culture by championing the core value of Hustle & Grit. Drive relentless ambition within the team to succeed and achieve operational excellence.

  • Team Elevation: Address the need to strengthen junior team capabilities by providing targeted direction and development.

  • Culture and NPS: Act as a positive ambassador for Crimsons culture and ensure the overall student experience creates a positive NPS.

Market Execution and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Sales and Marketing Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to create brand value awareness and tangible outcomes for students.

  • Partnership Development: Proactively identify form and manage relevant local partnerships.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary representative for Crimson building strong relationships with local stakeholders and potentially government units.

What skills and experience are required

  • 5 years of people leadership experience.

  • Proven track record in strategic planning policy implementation and organizational leadership.

  • Bachelors degree or higher from a top 20 university.

  • Performance Drive: Demonstrated ability to drive transformation and instill a high-energy results-focused culture. Must be able to be hands-on with the team.

  • Strategic Execution: High level of critical thinking and solid commercial and strategic agility. Proven ability to align strategy with business goals.

  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese is a must.

  • Strong change management skills to elevate management quality and team capability.

  • Strong financial acumen (managing budgets allocations).

  • Knowledge of platforms such as Salesforce Marketo Google Analytics etc. is valuable.
