Cyber Intelligence Associate

As a Cybersecurity Intelligence Associate in Cybersecurity & Tech Controls you will be instrumental in protecting the firms digital assets and infrastructure. Utilizing your deep understanding of cybersecurity intelligence methods you will monitor and assess industry-specific attack vectors identify emerging trends and evaluate potential risks to systems data the brand and clients. Your contributions will have a direct impact on team and department objectives and will inform firm-wide risk mitigation and remediation strategies. Your role is vital in enhancing the firms security posture and defending against the continuously evolving cyber threat landscape.

Job responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and analyze global cyber threats using intelligence from various sources to identify trends and potential risks to the firms systems data and clients
• Conduct thorough assessments of potential cyber threats applying advanced analytical techniques and tools to evaluate the credibility impact and likelihood of threats materializing
• Collaborate in analysis sessions with peers sharing insights and refining findings on relevant cyber-attacks contributing to plans for intelligence enrichment and dissemination
• Assist in creating and refining threat hunting playbooks incorporating best practices and regulatory requirements for effective threat detection and response

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Data Science or related disciplines
• 2 years of experience in cybersecurity threat intelligence Information Security or related field
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash JavaScript PowerShell) for task automation and data analysis
• Demonstrated ability in (Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) research social media trend analysis and public source information gathering
• Strong knowledge of information security principles network protocols and malware analysis techniques
