VICE HEAD MISTRESS

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced  Vice Mistress to join our educational leadership team in Benin City Nigeria. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Principal to oversee the day-to-day operations of the school foster academic excellence and create a positive learning environment for students and staff.

• Assist the Principal in developing and implementing school policies procedures and curriculum
• Supervise and evaluate teaching staff providing constructive feedback and professional development opportunities
• Manage student discipline and promote a positive school culture
• Collaborate with teachers parents and community members to enhance student achievement
• Oversee the schools academic programs and extracurricular activities
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian educational policies and regulations
• Participate in the development and implementation of the school improvement plan
• Act as the Principal in their absence making critical decisions when necessary
• Utilize educational technology to enhance teaching and learning processes
• Coordinate and supervise standardized testing and student performance evaluations

Qualifications :

• First degree in Education Mathematics or English language.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in curriculum development implementation and evaluation
• Demonstrated experience in student behavior management and fostering a positive school culture
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in educational technology and its application in the classroom
• Fluency in English
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with educational trends
