About the Role
As a Client Connectivity Support Engineer you willoperate at the intersection of technical infrastructure middleware andclient interaction ensuring the seamless exchange of financial databetween internal systems and external partners.
This role combines technical troubleshootingclient-facingcommunication and cross-team coordination in a dynamicinternational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Handle client communication via calls and email ensuring timely incident acknowledgment
Monitor file and message flows identifying failures delays or anomalies
Perform incident analysis troubleshooting and resolution or escalation
Act as the main point of contact for clients and external partners during incidents
Coordinate with internal teams (Application Infrastructure Ops Business)
Provide clear and continuous status updates to stakeholders
Maintain and update documentation procedures and Known Error Database
Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of file transfer and connectivity solutions
Experience with middleware tools: Axway CFT Axway Secure Transport IBM MQ (APIs are a plus)
Knowledge of transfer protocols: PeSIT SFTP FTPS HTTPS
Expertise in data encryption (PGP/GPG) and secure channels (TLS SSH)
Solid understanding of network concepts: topologies firewalls IP ranges leased lines
Ability to analyze logs alerts and system flows
Familiarity with tools such as Jira ServiceNow and monitoring platforms
Experience supporting testing and onboarding of new connections/flows
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences)
High customer orientation and service mindset
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proactive problem-solving approach
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams
