Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to work across multiple business and technology initiatives. This role plays a key part in shaping solutions that align withorganisationalgoals and will help form the foundation of a growing business analysis function.

About the role

As a Business Analyst you will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to translate complex needs into clear actionable requirements. You will support solution design and delivery contribute to qualityoutcomesand helpestablishstandards that support a highperforming BA practice over time.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with business and technology stakeholders to elicitdocumentand refine requirements

• Lead or support workshops sprintplanningand backlog refinement sessions

• Analyseand document current state and future state business processes

• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications

• Support solution design in collaboration with developers architectstestersand product teams

• Identifyrisksdependenciesand opportunities for improvement across systems and workflows

• Support UAT planningcoordinationand defect triage

• Maintainaccurate traceable documentation across the delivery lifecycle

• Contribute to the development and uplift of business analysis standards and practices

• Support knowledge sharing and onboarding of future team members

• Comply withall health and safety policies and procedures

Accountabilities

• Deliver clear actionable requirements that support business and technology outcomes

• Facilitate effective communication between business and technical stakeholders

• Support testing and validation to ensure fitforpurpose solutions

• Contribute to continuous improvement of processestoolsand team practices

• Helpestablishand strengthen business analysis capability across theorganisation

About you

• Minimum 4 years experience as a Business Analyst in a mid to senior capacity

• Experience working in complex or regulated environments such as financial servicesgovernmentor utilities

• Experience with data models APIs systemintegrationsand architectural dependencies

• Strong stakeholder engagement processmappingand documentation skills

• Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences

• Experience using tools such as Jira Confluence or Azure DevOps

Qualifications

Highly regarded certifications include:

• CBAP or CCBA (IIBA)

• AgileBA(APMG)

• ICPBA (ICAgile)
