We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Analyst who is an expert on the Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central platforms to join our Remote Team. How do we define a Senior Data Analyst This is a Leadership position that requires advanced experience with Amazon reporting and expert level Excel skills. A Senior position means you are both the go-to person while still being a resource and sometimes a teacher to other team members. He/She is confident in their skills but knows how to continue to learn and level up since Amazon and software are ever-changing.
Our ideal candidate for this position should pride themselves as being detail-oriented extremely accurate a critical thinker innovative and a problem-solver. You would be joining our Amazon Data Team and providing Excel and reporting support directly to company executives.
This position requires daily downloading compiling and formatting of reports from Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central. It is critical that the candidate applying already has knowledge of core report locations and advanced Excel experience in order to succeed. He/She must be comfortable managing large Excel data sets for individual contributor tasks including validating and editing reports from department members. Our candidate should be able to multi-task and handle reporting schedules with accuracy and timeliness. We want someone who really enjoys mining for metrics and turning big data into real insights!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrated experience locating and downloading all available Amazon reports in Seller Central and Vendor Central
Solid understanding of each report type and the definitions for each Amazon metric found on the report(s)
Demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting Amazon report(s) to create actionable KPIs
Organized approach to collating and saving data
Strong experience with data presentation using Excel Google Sheets and PowerPoint
Maintain and update daily weekly monthly quarterly and yearly Sales reports/trackers.
Maintain and update weekly monthly quarterly and yearly Expense reports/trackers.
Prepare and analyze Amazon Sales Performance
Prepare and analyze Amazon Inventory Performance
Prepare and analyze Amazon Advertising Performance
Administrative Database management duties in Google Drive and Microsoft SharePoint
Creating new processes and SOP documentation for changing business needs and new training materials
Overseeing Data Team output and managing project schedules for department stakeholders
Provide interdepartmental Excel and reporting presentation support as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must Have: Strong Written and Oral Communication; fluent in oral and written English
Must Have: 3-5 Years of Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Vendor Central experience
Must Have: 3-5 Years of Experience handling and presenting core Amazon reporting for external teams (ie Sales Advertising Inventory and Finance)
Must Have: 3-5 Years of Advanced Experience with Excel and Google Sheets
Proven experience with data aggregation data mining data manipulation segmentation techniques and creating data models using MS Excel and Google Sheets
Proven experience validating data integrity of large Excel data sets including formula validations and data origination
Be able to maintain a high level of accuracy quality and presentation of data with dynamic deadlines for multiple departments
Highly inquisitive and self-motivated to dig deep to find impactful data insights in big data
High energy and proven team player always willing to help and problem solve
Experience managing a small team of at least 2-5 members
Preferred: Experience with Amazon 3rd party software automation Power BI
EDUCATION:
Must Have: College Degree or Accreditation for Business Administration Statistics Accounting and/or Finance
