This senior leadership role is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of high-value accounts and prospective clients. Reporting to senior leadership this role provides direction to account and business development functions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored client-centric solutions that align with business objectives.
Tasks
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and target prospects driving revenue growth and account expansion.
- Build strong trusted relationships with clients acting as a strategic advisor and recommending value-driven solutions.
- Provide leadership guidance and support to direct reports and cross-functional teams to enhance client engagement and delivery.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Product Marketing Sales Operations Technical Pre-Sales Service Delivery and Finance to ensure a seamless end-to-end client experience.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with overall business goals including accurate forecasting.
- Lead contract negotiations and renewal processes ensuring sustainable and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Monitor performance against targets delivering regular reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with market trends industry developments and competitor activity to anticipate client needs and inform strategy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in account management or business development within a technology-focused environment.
- Proven track record of achieving growth targets and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills.
