Purpose Statement:

We are seeking a Senior Employee Relations Manager APAC to lead highly complex and sensitive workplace investigations and provide expert guidance on policy interpretation and complex employee relations matters across the APAC region.
In this role you will conduct rootcause and trend analyses provide oversight and mentorship to other investigators and lead crossfunctional initiatives that strengthen the companys global Employee Relations (ER) function in the APAC region. You will also contribute to the development of tools systems processes and strategies that drive consistency effectiveness and continuous is a strategic individualcontributor role reporting to the Global Sr. Director of Employee Relations. You will partner closely with HR leadership and APAC HR teams to deliver scalable consistent ER services aligned with business objectives and exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as the Employee Relations subject matter expert in the APAC region leading complex investigations and interpreting company policies to ensure fair consistent and legally compliant outcomes across regions and organizational levels.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on sensitive workplace issues policy application and risk mitigation.
- Lead the development implementation and governance of ERrelated policies aligned with global and local requirements.
- Support and advise regional ER teams on investigations best practices and capability building through training and consultation.
- Establish operating standards policies and procedures that govern investigation practices for different countries in the APAC region.
Global Employee Relations Support
- Drive adoption and maturity of the global Employee Relations support model in the APAC region.
- Deliver ER support across all countries in the region including coaching and training on conflict resolution performance management and policy interpretation.
- Promote a collaborative inclusive and highperforming ER culture leading regional initiatives aligned with global ER priorities.
Project Management & Process Improvement
- Identify analyze and communicate investigation trends and systemic issues to key stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives that improve efficiency effectiveness and scalability of the Global Employee Relations function in APAC.
- Build and maintain consistent processes documentation and a shared knowledge base for the global ER team.
Collaboration & Influence
- Partner closely with Legal HR Business Partners People Services Global Compliance and Global Security to manage escalated employee matters and ensure alignment with corporate policies and applicable laws.
- Act as an escalation point for complex cases providing guidance on rootcause analysis corrective action and intervention planning.
- Reinforce the Global Employee Relations support model in APAC by partnering with HR Operations and global peers to leverage technology and enhance service delivery.
- Influence leaders and stakeholders to adopt new ways of working driving a consistent and positive employee experience across countries in the APAC region.
- Serve as a change champion contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across HR service delivery Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partners.
- Support change management efforts that strengthen adoption of the HR operating model and improve operational effectiveness and employee experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with 10 - 12 years of progressive human resources experience including significant focus on employee relations fullcycle workplace investigations performance management and compliance in highly matrixed and global organizations.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered; advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience managing and conducting complex fullcycle internal employee investigations in countries in the APAC region.
- Regional experience leading complex employee investigations across multiple countries (China Malaysia Japan Singapore India etc.)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across different jurisdictions in APAC.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment strong problemsolving skills and the ability to manage ambiguity.
- Exceptional professionalism discretion and a customerfocused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency in Mandarin or other Asian languages (Japanese Korean) in the region is preferred.
- Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced matrixed environment.
- Excellent interpersonal collaboration and teambuilding skills.
- Strong analytical and criticalthinking capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply laws regulations policies and guidelines accurately.
