The Role
- Apply the latest analytics tools to single cell multi-omics data and establish analysis pipelines
- Engage in collaborative efforts with scientists and provide expert informatics solutions and training
- Implement cutting-edge AI/ML solutions
- Provide mentorship to a highly impactful bioinformatics team
Qualifications and Qualities
- Ph.D. in Bioinformatics Computer Science Biological Sciences or a related discipline or a Masters degree in a relevant field with at least 6 years of relevant work experience
- Strong hands-on experience in data analytics and bioinformatics
- Proficiency in R Python or other relevant programming languages
- Proven experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS) multi-omics or related fields including single-cell and spatial biology applications
- Prior supervision or mentoring experience is highly advantageous
- Experience in AI/ML with demonstrated applications in bioinformatics is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated proactive and a strong team player
- Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges
