Product Manager II On-Call
Job Summary
Customers depend on Datadogs On-Call product in crisis moments when outages threaten their business and your work will shape how teams respond and learn.
As a Product Manager II youll own the product that ensures the right people are alerted at the right time: powering reliable paging intelligent routing escalation policies and notification delivery when it matters most. Youll build the system that responders trust in their most critical moments when every second counts.
This is a deeply technical and high-reliability product. Youll own features across alert ingestion routing logic scheduling and rotations escalation management multi-channel notifications (SMS voice push) mobile experiences and automation. Youll also shape how AI enhances on-call workflows from noise reduction to smarter escalation and response recommendations.
Youll own the features that ensure alerts are delivered instantly and reliably for some of the worlds most complex cloud systems partnering closely with Incident Management Mobile Monitoring Event Management and the broader Datadog platform to deliver end-to-end response. Your work will be highly visible and mission-critical directly impacting how customers maintain uptime and respond to issues in real time.

What Youll Do:
- Develop a deep understanding of how dev ops and security teams manage on-call responsibilities handle alerts and respond to pages in high-pressure situations
- Own the end-to-end product management process for the On-Call product within Datadog
- Ship features that ensure alerts are routed intelligently and delivered instantly and reliably across all channels
- Be accountable for the growth and reliability of the Datadog On-Call product
- Work with Design and Engineering to define product priorities and roadmaps that deliver a best-in-class always-on paging and escalation experience
- Partner with Sales Account Management Marketing and Solutions teams to win new customers and support existing ones especially in competitive migrations from legacy paging tools
Who You Are:
- An experienced Product Manager ideally at a SaaS company
- You are customer-minded with a high quality standard for the product to be delivered
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- You have a strong sense of the day in the life of an engineer who holds a pager.
- You have Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
