About the Team

About the Role

As Python Software Development Engineer you will be a key contributor to the evolution of the Storyteller platform. You will:

• Develop & Optimize: Build and maintain high-performance Python code identifying bottlenecks and implementing architecture changes to improve runtime and memory efficiency.

• Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable data pipeline components and feature sets.

• Full-Stack Exposure: Contribute to the broader platform ecosystem including data pipelines and backend services (potentially touching Kotlin/Spring or TypeScript/React as needed).

• Quality & Support: Take ownership of code quality through rigorous testing and provide ongoing maintenance and support for the PPLA product suite.

• Technical Mentorship: Provide peer code reviews and share best practices with the team to maintain high engineering standards.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of professional experience with Python.

• Solid understanding of software design patterns and enterprise-level architecture.

• Proven experience in performance optimization and managing scalable software operations.

• Strong experience working in a TDD (Test-Driven Development) environment.

• Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global team.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

• Knowledge of data processing data analysis or ETL pipelines.

• Familiarity with BI analytics or data visualization tools is a significant plus.

• Understanding of software security best practices.
