About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing technology company specializing in IT infrastructure and managed services. With a strong and expanding client base they are looking for a skilled Senior Systems Administrator to support and evolve their infrastructure.

Your Role

You will be responsible for managing maintaining and improving the companys IT infrastructure ensuring high availability security and performance across all systems.

What Youll Do

Infrastructure & Systems

• Manage Linux servers (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS)

• Perform updates patching and security hardening

• Configure and maintain core services (DNS web servers VPN PBX Nextcloud etc.)

• Manage users permissions storage and system resources

Virtualization & Cloud

• Manage VM lifecycle (provisioning backups migrations)

• Manage cloud services (Hetzner AWS etc.)

Networking

• Configure and maintain routers firewalls and VPNs

• Manage LAN/WAN VLANs routing and connectivity

• Troubleshoot network issues and outages

Security & Backup

• Maintain firewall and VPN policies

• Monitor systems and logs for security threats

• Manage backups and test recovery procedures

• Support disaster recovery and business continuity

Monitoring & Automation

• Maintain monitoring tools (Grafana Prometheus)

• Implement alerts and proactive monitoring

• Automate tasks using scripting (Bash Python PowerShell)

Support & Operations

• Provide advanced technical support

• Work with internal teams and external vendors

• Maintain documentation and system diagrams

• Support system upgrades and migrations

What Were Looking For

Experience & Skills

• 5 years in Systems Administration or similar role

• Strong Linux administration experience

• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP VLANs VPNs)

• Experience with virtualization (Proxmox preferred)

• Experience with MikroTik routers and firewall configuration

• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana Prometheus)

• Scripting skills (Bash Python; PowerShell is a plus)

• Basic knowledge of Windows Server environments

Nice to Have

• MikroTik certification (MTCNA or higher)

• Linux certifications (LPIC RHCSA etc.)

• Experience with Docker or containerized environments

• Experience with WireGuard VPN

• Familiarity with Ansible or Terraform

• Microsoft 365 administration experience
