Job Summary
Role based in Stockholm Sweden - Rotation plan available
Fohntech Group are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for a client based in Stockholm Sweden.
Key commercial role within the PMO supporting delivery of hyperscale data centre projects. Responsible for cost control contract administration and commercial management of MEP and CSA packages ensuring projects are delivered on budget and in line with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets cost reporting and forecasting
- Administer contracts (NEC/FIDIC or similar) and manage change control
- Review and assess contractor applications variations and claims
- Support procurement strategy tendering and package awards
- Monitor commercial performance across MEP & CSA packages
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Interface with project controls planning and delivery teams within PMO
- Provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders and client
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying Commercial Management or related field
- 510 years experience in construction/commercial roles
- Experience on large-scale projects (data centres or mission-critical preferred)
- Strong understanding of contract forms (NEC FIDIC etc.)
- Proven cost management and reporting experience
Desirable
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience
- Experience working within a PMO/client-side environment
- Familiarity with Nordic markets or regulations
