We are looking for a SENCO to lead the Special Educational Needs provision within a highly supportive school based in Bournemouth. This is a full-time position focused on overseeing the EHCP process managing a team of Learning Support Assistants and ensuring that all students with additional needs reach their full potential. The successful SENCO will be joining a well-resourced and highly successful department with an approachable and supportive senior leadership team. Experience and Qualifications
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) is essential
Be an enthusiastic empathetic and highly organized leader
Have excellent subject knowledge regarding the SEND Code of Practice
A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
Legal ability to work within the UK
