Were looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our Professional Services team supporting the delivery of IT infrastructure and security projects across our customer base. About the role

As a Junior Project Manager at Intercity youll work as part of a dynamic team delivering our portfolio of security network management and intelligence solutions.

Youll support the planning coordination and daytoday delivery of multiple projects working closely with customers internal technical teams and experienced Project Managers who will guide and support your development.

This is a clientfacing role giving you exposure to the full project lifecycle in a fastmoving IT environment with the opportunity to grow your confidence capability and commercial awareness over time.

What youll be doing as a Junior Project Manager

No two days are the same but your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the delivery of customer projects helping to keep activities on track on time and wellcommunicated
• Assisting with the implementation of Intercitys solutions and services across IT infrastructure and security programmes
• Maintaining project plans schedules and documentation in line with agreed standards
• Coordinating internal resources and supporting project milestones
• Building positive working relationships with customers colleagues and thirdparty suppliers
• Supporting clear and consistent communication across all parties involved in a project
• Producing highquality project documentation for both customers and internal teams
• Helping to deliver a consistent highquality experience across Intercitys client base
• Learning industry best practice and contributing ideas to improve project delivery and service quality

What were looking for

Were interested in people who are organised curious and keen to develop their project management career in a practical handson environment.

Experience & knowledge

• Exposure to IT technology networking or security projects (desirable not essential)
• A basic understanding of project management methodologies and delivery principles
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders at different levels

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities

• Honest straightforward and a genuine team player
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites

Qualifications (desirable)

• PRINCE2 Foundation (or working towards)
• Interest in progressing to PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM qualifications
