About the Role
*** This role is based in either our Charlotte NC or London UK office.***


AstheEventProgramManageryour contribution to the organization will betoensure operational successbyachieving alignment through defining communicating and managing standards to ensure the event operations team has the tools and informationto deliver a successful event according to all parties.

Responsible for managing operational relationships with both internal and external stakeholders particularly partnersyou willserveas a bridge between the operations department and those parties.

Achieving this will require:

Core Responsibilities

Responsible for theprogrammanagement of2 assigned programsannuallywith a varying number ofevents per program.

Operational Relationship Owner

  • Taking ownership of developingthe operationalrelationships with partners. Ensuring that these relationships arewell managedefficientand mutually beneficial.
  • Aid in gathering and distributing expectations from the Partner and Product Management teams to the Event Operations team.
  • Ensure the properhandoffinformationas needed fromthe partner tothe Event Operations team according to set timelines.
  • Own the resolution of issues that may arise in the operational relationship using a proactive andsolution orientedapproach.
  • Provide status reports for all projects to your immediate supervisor along with assigned partner(s)

Internal Liaison

  • Provideexpert guidance and support on partnership details agreements and expectationsensuring alignment with operational partnership goals.
  • Assistin creating implementing andmonitoringestablished standards and best practices according to partnership to ensure consistency across the organization and with external partnerswithinassigned partnerships.
  • Focus on achieving alignment through definingcommunicatingand managing standardsto ensure the event operations team and external partner teams have the tools and information needed to execute planning and onsite activities.
  • Maintainup to date documentation and records of partnership agreements key contacts and communications logs.
  • Provide a point of escalation for the operations team within assigned partnerships

Forward Planning

  • Implement forward planning strategies to address event needs and opportunities contributing to overall event success.
  • Take ownership of gatheringconsolidating and presenting comprehensive event feedback and future action plans across the organization.
  • Collaborate with various teams to integrate forward planning efforts andmaintaina cohesive approach to execution.
  • Anticipate theneedsin planning for upcoming events withinassignedpartnership scope.
  • Engage inproductideationandfeasibilityin the launch process ofnew productsor activations ensuring adherence to budgetand partnership expectations.
    • Including but not limited to the coordination ofinitialsite visits as needed ensuring venues meet all logistical technical and operational requirements for successful event execution.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 3years experiencein event planning andaccountmanagement.
    • Sportingevents entertainment and/or liveexperiencesstronglypreferred.
  • Experience managingand supportingbudgets of at least500K USD.
    • Experiencewithhighly variable budgets or budgetstosales preferred.
  • Experience across multiple industry sectors (agency venue league corporate) preferred.
  • Proventrack recordof effective project management.
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Hospitality Management Business Marketing or related field.
  • Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Excel CRM software and project management tools.
  • Bi/multilingual preferred.

Physical

  • Prolongedperiodssitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Extensive walking and standing for periods greater than 12 hours while at events.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds/14 kilograms.
  • Full time in-person basedinCharlotte NC or London UK
  • Requires flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed in addition to having the ability to travelup to20%-targeted travel 10-15%.
    • Willing and eligible to travel internationally.
  • Eligible to work in theUnited States/ United Kingdom
