Job Summary

Domestic Considerations: An FTRS (HC) appointment that attracts no X-factor pay nor any Home to duty travel. Nights Out Of Bed (NOOB)/Separated Service (SS) is not expected and purely conducted on a voluntary basis by the position incumbent. Any unit visit will be conduct during the working day which may include extended hours. T&S will be granted IAW current Army policy IOT support official working events and of work is operating under RHQ REME but located and working from the REME Combined Training Wing in Tidworth

Position Role: The SNCOh REME Apprenticeship Trg Cell Coordinator is responsible for the day to day running and management of the Apprenticeships REME Training Cell; taking charge of all associated Trg Cell equipment and for forecasting and coordinating Bn based Apprenticeship Training including that of satellite units under the Bns Affiliation Matrix.

Responsibilities:
1. Regional Apprenticeship Lead. Take the regional lead to liaise with Bn Affiliated Units to address low progressing and/or underperforming soldiers.
2. Inclusive coordination. Act as the primary point of contact to support apprentices with low levels of SME and equipment/platform availability; ensuring that bespoke events and repair/maintenance activity is organised.
3. Learning Continuity. Conduct outreach activity for units or individuals that deploy on operations IOT facilitate regular tripartite communications/engagement that supports learning continuity and quality.
4. Safe Field Access and Learning. Coordinate and facilitate Field Coach access to soldiers whilst they are on exercise (primarily Salisbury plain) to exploit a real time engineering environment; setting SMART Targets.
5. Training Activities and Open Access Hours: Manage the Apprenticeship Training Cell Schedule of Events including but not limited to collective training events individual training requirements trade-specific or cohort-focused training mock assessments.
6. Resource and Facility Coordination: Oversee and procure all materials equipment and facilities required to support learning objectives while ensuring a safe and effective working environment.
7. Field Coach Collaboration: Provide support to on-site Field Coach/es and where necessary act as the employer representative and/or mentor.
8. Incumbents will be required to support wider apprenticeship programme activity as required.
