Ground worker

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a Ground worker on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 22.52 - 29.70 per hour

Summary:

Opportunity for experienced Ground Workers to carry out a range of repairs across estates including concrete brickwork and tarmac works. The role involves hands-on repair work along with reporting using digital systems.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out concrete repairs (paving slabs bollards etc.)
• Complete brickwork repairs (rebuilding walls pointing rendering)
• Perform tarmac repairs (walkways potholes estate roads)
• Record and submit detailed reports of work completed
• Use PDA systems to log jobs and updates

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in groundworks / construction repairs
• Knowledge of concrete brickwork and tarmac repairs
• Ability to produce clear reports
• Experience using PDA or mobile systems

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
