Our Global Tax division is responsible for ensuring the firms compliance with tax laws and related reporting requirements across all countries and jurisdictions where we operate. We strategically analyze and support business activities operations and transactions to ensure that tax consequences and reputational risks are appropriately evaluated.

Role overview
We are seeking a Senior Analyst/Junior Associate with prior experience in financial institutions consulting or law firms. The successful candidate will support taxation of financial products and tax reporting obligations across LatAm with a particular focus on Brazil and Mexico and will proactively monitor tax legislation to help ensure robust compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and collect taxes on client transactions.
- Review data and prepare financial statements.
- File required tax returns including withholding FATCA CRS and informative reports.
- Reconcile balance sheets across Operations systems to ensure accuracy.
- Support adherence to tax and withholding rules across LatAm with a particular focus on Brazil and Mexico.
- Improve processes and documentation to ensure accurate complete tax workpapers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Brazilian tax resident;
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting Law Finance or a related discipline;
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; Spanish is a considered a plus;
- 35 years of experience in a financial institution Big Four consultancy or law firm with a focus on tax compliance;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively across regions and functions within financial services;
- Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills with experience supporting complex workflows;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel PowerPoint Word);
- Strong Plus: Workflow Automation (e.g. Alteryx Advanced Excel Microsoft 365 Copilot).
