Job Description Summary
The Regional Commodity Manager leads sourcing strategy and execution across ITO and OTR projects ensuring alignment with business goals. They negotiate with suppliers and work closely with procurement to issue timely high-quality purchase orders within budget. The role includes overseeing RFQ/RFP processes supplier negotiations qualification and building a strong supplier base. They are also responsible for resolving claims in a way that benefits the organization. Additionally they support bid and tender phases by providing accurate pricing and lead-time inputs.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end commodity strategy development and execution balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations.
- Ensures cost quality and delivery performance meet project and service requirements.
- Manages sourcing activities including cost estimation supplier evaluation and negotiations for bids and projects.
- Collaborates closely with engineering commercial and supplier quality teams for supplier selection and qualification.
- Develops and expands a diverse supplier base aligned with business and customer requirements.
- Drives key performance indicators such as savings quality compliance and on-time delivery.
- Negotiates and manages master and project-specific supply agreements while ensuring policy compliance.
- Builds strong supplier relationships leads performance reviews and drives continuous improvement and efficiency.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Foreign Trade or Engineering.
- Solid experience of strategic sourcing and commodity management experience.
- Advanced English knowledge;
- Advanced Portuguese knowledge;
- Desirable knowledge of SAP;
- Ability and willingness to travel domestic & internationally up to 30% of the time in compliance with company travel and tax policies.
