SAP SD Consultant

About the Role

Were looking for an SAP SD consultant who understands the full order lifecycle - not just

configuration but how orders move through the business.

This role is hands-on and business-facing. Youll work across Order Management (OMS)

fulfilment and integrations and will be expected to connect the dots between systems processes

and outcomes.

What Youll Be Working On

Managing and enhancing Order Management (OMS) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes

Supporting end-to-end fulfillment flow - from order creation to delivery billing and closure

Handling pricing billing shipping and partner determination configurations

Working on credit management processes and ensuring proper risk controls

Supporting production issues and driving resolution across modules

Process Ownership (What Matters Most)

Strong understanding of:

Order capture availability check delivery billing accounting

Backorder processing ATP and delivery scheduling

Ability to identify where a process breaks - and fix it not just escalate

Integration & Cross-Module Work

Hands-on experience working with:

MM (Procurement / Inventory)

FI (Billing / Accounting impact)

MM/WM/EWM (Warehouse / Fulfillment)

Understanding how data flows across modules and where dependencies exist

Interfaces & Data Flow

Working knowledge of:

IDOC processing (basic types message types error handling)

Interface flows between SAP and external systems

Ability to analyze failures in interface chains and coordinate fixes

Understanding of inbound vs outbound data flows

AI & Digital Awareness (Good to Have)

Basic understanding of how AI/automation can improve order processing forecasting or exception handling

Exposure to or willingness to work with intelligent automation or analytics tools.

Working with Business

Translate business requirements into SAP solutions without overcomplicating things

Work directly with sales finance and operations teams

Communicate clearly - especially when explaining system behavior or issues

Youre structured and respect reporting lines (unity of command matters here)

Youre comfortable working in a controlled delivery environment

What Were Looking For

3 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD

Strong experience in:

o Order Management (OMS)

o Fulfillment processes

o Pricing billing and delivery configuration

o Credit management

Good understanding of:

o Cross-module integration (MM FI WM/EWM)

o Interfaces and IDOC flows

Additional Strengths

Experience in end-to-end implementations or rollouts

Exposure to support enhancement environments

Ability to troubleshoot both process issues and system issues
