Experience Range: 4 to 6
Role Descriptions: Robotics Validation - Each Supplier Personnel engaged in Robotic Software Validation must have no less than 3 Years of Experience in the following technical areas Validation Automation in Robotics Developing C Python Perl Shell and test content for ROS2 Validating Software features for at least 3 or more projects in a post-silicon environment Debugging failures using log files and microcode trace dumps. Debugging software using debuggers and trace files. Knowledge of x86 Architecture Knowledge of one or more protocols I2CUARTWDTRTCSPI DDR SATA USB AXI PCI PCIe MIPI WLAN or I3CNTB Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux (Ubuntu LTS Yocto) and system uUse cases Validation for robotics platforms. Strong Validation expertise in ROS 2 and robotics fundamentals including navigation motion planning control and SLAM for autonomous robotic systems. Experience with robotics simulation tools such as Gazebo Ignition and simulation-driven Test plan development and validation. Proficiency in heterogeneous compute acceleration for robotics workloads using CPU GPU NPU (ROCm HIP accelerated perception and AI pipelines). Experience validating graphics stacks (Vulkan and OpenGL) and integrating visualization and rendering into robotics applications and simulators. Experience with containerized robotics development and validation workflows using Docker Podman for reproducible environments. Familiarity with sensor and camera frameworks such as V4L2 and integration of robotics sensors (camera IMU LiDAR where applicable). Exposure to virtualization in embedded or robotics environments (e.g. Xen Hypervisor) and multi-OS robotics stacks when required. Understanding of requirements-to-test traceability release qualification and validation processes using structured requirement management workflows
