Project Manager will be responsible for leading the team for DcPP/ ToT related works as well as user interface for acceptance of developed systems of defence & Military application products. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Project Management DcPP ToTs Product delivery
Leading end-to-end project execution for product/system development/ production.
Collaborating with engineering design and R&D teams to meet technical milestones.
Collaborating with various Govt agencies like DRDO etc for smooth conduct of projects.
Developing project plans (Tendering Vendor Finalization timelines budgeting and resource allocation. Along with managing external stakeholders such as Armed forces DRDO etc.
Developing Contracts MoU facilitating TOTs collaboration with external stakeholders to pace up the developments Production of various projects within stipulated timelines.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure development and production activities align with requirements and quality standards.
Manage risk assessments issue resolution and change management.
Evaluating RFI RFP and preparation of response as well as project plan.
2. User Trials and Induction
Plan and coordinate field/user trials in collaboration with Defence forces.
Formulation of User Trials Directives as per the standards of users requirements
Coordinating Induction Procedures & resolving bottleneck through effective approaches & Collaboration with users & OEMs.
Serve as the primary liaison with end users to gather feedback and incorporate improvements.
Ensure compliance with Defence protocols and safety standards during trials.
Manage documentation reporting and analysis of trial results.
Lead induction/training programs training aids documentation for users and stakeholders during system rollout.
3. Operational Management
Oversee day-to-day operations post-deployment ensuring system functionality and support.
Developing & Documentation of Operational readiness plan for end users
Preparation of realistic induction schedule for various End Users.
Act as a point of contact for ongoing support troubleshooting and upgrades.
Effective rapport & Liaison with local administration authorities for better & fast track grievances resolutions.
Conducting various strategic planning exercises & discussions on operational readiness.
Experience of defence procurement processes preparation of responses to RFIs RFPs EoIs etc.
Leading 7 coordinating successful initiatives involving Org Administration Financial analysis security management T&D Vendor Management & Procurement along with effective auditing & controlling of various aspects.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering/Project Management/Military Technology or related field. (Mechanical & Electrical /Electronics Engineering)
20 years of experience in Project/Operation/Contract Management preferably in Defence aerospace or high-tech sectors.
Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams through complex product development cycles.
Familiarity with Defence procurement field trials and operational environments.
Excellent communication stakeholder management and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience:
Hands-on experience with Defence/paramilitary organizations.
Background in Military Technology/ Military Application Product lifecycle Management.
Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. MIL-STD ISO JSS JSG etc).
