Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Analyst to design execute and maintain comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality reliability and usability of web mobile and backend applications. This position will be full-time and onsite.Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Design
Understand business requirements and create detailed test plans test cases and acceptance criteria.
Define scope and objectives for functional regression exploratory and UAT testing.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage and maintain traceability matrices.
Manual Test Execution
Execute manual tests for functional integration regression and usability scenarios.
Validate APIs using tools like Postman (basic request/response validation).
Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
Verify bug fixes and perform retesting to ensure closure.
Defect Management & Reporting
Log track and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools.
Work closely with developers to reproduce isolate and resolve issues.
Provide daily/weekly testing status reports and highlight risks.
Technology Exposure Required
Test Management & Collaboration Tools: JIRA Azure DevOps TestRail Confluence.
Defect Tracking & Reporting: JIRA Azure DevOps Boards
API Testing Tools (Basic to Intermediate): Postman Swagger
Database Validation: MySQL SQL Server
Performance Testing Awareness: JMeter (understanding and Test script creation)
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming and daily stand-ups.
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine acceptance criteria.
Suggest process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
What Youll Need
Required:
Essential Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors or masters in computer science IT or related field (Mandatory).
ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (Preferred).
Relevant Experience:
47 years of hands-on experience in manual testing for web mobile and backend services.
Strong knowledge of STLC SDLC Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in functional regression system integration usability and UAT testing.
Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Exposure to SQL for basic database validation.
Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA Azure DevOps HP ALM.
